Radio Network Planning and Optimization Engineer(REF-RNPO). Roles and Responsibilities 1. RF Planning and Design 2. RF Coverage Optimization-Drive Test and KPI optimization 3. RF Parameters Design and Optimization 4. Development of Test plan 5. Logfiles analysis and recommendation Skills and Competence Summary 1. Proficient in GSM, GPRS, CDMA and WCDMA Technologies 2. RF Engineering, Antenna Theory, proficient with a least one planning tool-ATOLL, PLANET EV, ASSET, etc 3. Proficient with Pilot Panoroma, Qualcomm-CAIT, Agilent, or TEMS Drive Testing tool 4. Proficient in Post processing of Drive test with ACTIX and MAPINFO 5. Excellent Microsoft Excel skill. Qualification/Experience 1. Bachelor degree in any Engineering or Physical Sciences 2. At least 3 years working experience on the same role 3. Excellent Communication skills 4. An eye for details, and a great sense of aesthetics 5. Excellent use of Microsoft Office packages 6. Direct Report • President & CEO. Indirect Supervision • Business Units. Role/Responsibilities: • To be the main point of contact for all issues and able to represent the organization at all levels. • To build strong relationship with all Customer groups. • To manage all service delivery related issues, ensuring that Customer expectations are managed appropriately. • Responsible for monitoring all service and project delivery processes to ensure these are effective in managing the customers. • To improve, strengthen and maintain Customer satisfaction at all times. • Maintain a clear channel of communication with the customer to ensure that customer issues and concerns are dealt with in a timely manner and regular updates fed back to the customer. • To identify new areas of business opportunities and work with the Customers to develop these areas • Understanding the Customers’ requirements/challenges and support in resolving these. • Resolve revenue related issues and also ensure that all outstanding payments are actively chased and resolved. Requirements;1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 2. Good understanding and appreciation of GSM and CDMA technology. 3. Must have past experience of working in the telecom industry 4. Past experience of either Service Delivery or Project Management in the Telecomm industry. 8. Past experience gained from working with a Telecomm Vendor. Responsibilities • Receives incoming telephone calls for the department or organization • Obtains caller’s name, and forwards call to appropriate person or takes a message. • Greets clients and visitors and directs to conference room or staff member’s office. • May record calls and visitors • Provides information and assistance to clients and customers • Answers inquiries for the general public • Schedules appointments, maintains conference room schedule, receives or sends out messenger/courier items. • Performs typing and other clerical duties • Other functions that will be assigned by the department Qualification and Experience • OND/BSc degree in any discipline • Excellent Communication Skills • Minimum of 2 years experience in similar role.
